The Boatneck Top is a wardrobe basic that’s designed to be useful for all 12 months of the year. It’s the perfect piece to comfortably layer under knits in winter or wear on it’s own in warmer months. It is a simple piece to make which means it’s a great project for beginners.

Self Fabric width 150cm | Sizes 4 - 12 = 100cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 120cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 125cm
Self Fabric width 110cm | Sizes 4 - 12 = 120cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 125cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 150cm
Materials list: Self Fabric (see above), 1 x spool of thread or 4 spools if you're using an overlocker

Fabric Suggestions:
The Boatneck Top is a fitted jersey pattern which means it needs to be paired with a stretchy fabric. You can use a jersey with an elastane blend or a fabric knitted with plenty of stretch. For a wearable wardrobe basic we recommend using a lovely lightweight jersey in a fibre of your choice.
