Sewing Kit - Luella Skirt in Autumn Jewel Viscose (Multiple Colours)

This kit contains all supplies you will need to make elegant, swooshy and effortless Luella Skirt by Tilly and the Buttons in our luscious autumn / winter viscose fabric in jewel tones. You have the option to choose either teal or cobalt versions of Autumn Jewel viscose fabric from the drop down menu above.

Pattern description:

If you want to swoosh around in effortless (and mega comfy) style, then meet Lyra, your new best friend! This ultra-cool shirt dress has an oversized, blousy bodice with bust darts, button front opening, two-piece collar and stand, and, of course, side seam pockets. The gathered skirt can be hemmed just above the knee, or add the midi panel for a trendy tiered look.

Choose between short sleeves for easy-breezy summer style or full length billowy sleeves with elasticated cuffs. Wear Lyra loose and floaty, or add an optional narrow tie to cinch you in at the waist. Endlessly versatile, pick a cooling cotton for the heat, cosy needlecord for the winter or a drapey viscose for added swish!

MODEL GARMENT SIZES - Marcela is wearing the UK 6-24 range (turquoise, multi and blue needlecord dresses) and wears size 4 (UK 12). Sarah is modelling the UK 16-34 range (blue and white dotty dresses) and wears size 11 (UK 26).

Fabric description:

This joyous high quality viscose fabric features stunning geometric design in rich autumnal jewel tones. It has a little more weight than usual viscose fabric and a wonderful drape, it has the most pleasant sateen finish, with matte, peachy soft touch. It is perfect for making autumn / winter blouses and dresses.

Suitable for: It would make beautiful dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts, tops, jumpsuit or accessories.

Drape:  Fluid

Washing Instructions: wash gently on cool 30C wash, low spinning. Iron on a low setting on ideally on the wrong side of the fabric. Use sharp needles and pins when sewing.
