This kit contains all supplies you will need to make stunning and timeless Anthea Blouse by Anna Allen in exclusive luxurious Lupine Petals pure linen or one of the lush organic cotton and linen ginghams by Merchant & Mills.

Pattern Information

The Anthea is a dartless blouse and dress pattern with puffed sleeves. All views button up the front with a fold-over placket and bias faced neckline. View A blouse has puffed sleeves that end at, or just below the elbow with a narrow bias cuff. View B dress has puffed sleeves that are 2” shorter than view A. Both the blouse and dress have a narrow curved hemline that dips down at the back/front and comes up slightly at the side seams. The dress includes a separate tie for those who prefer a more cinched in waist. This pattern was drafted for someone 5’5” with a B/C cup. Both top and dress can be lengthened or shortened as desired. Intended to be made in non-stretch woven fabrics.

Inspired by Monet’s impressionist floral paintings and the beautiful shape of Lupine flower petals, this hand painted abstract petals design is the most joyful composition of beautiful brushwork in subtle and happy colours.  Lupine Petals Blush is a high quality softened 100% linen offering classic benefits of breathability and crispiness of a good quality linen. It is lightweight and will make all types of garments or accessories. It is ideal for dresses, tops, shirts, tunics and trousers for your Spring / Summer wardrobe.

Merchant & Mills organic cotton and linen blend ginghams

A range of vibrant and versatile gingham fabrics ideal for many patterns, ideally dresses, skirts, shirts and tops. It would also be suitable for lightweight curtains and accessories.

Check size 1.2cm.

Suitable for: dresses, tops, shirts, loose trousers, tunics, skirts and accessories. 

Fibre Content: 88% Organic cotton, 12% linen.

Width: 148 cm

Weight: 4.5oz, 151gsm.

Opacity: Opaque

Drape: Soft and full

Certification: GOTS organic and Oeko-Tex certified.

Washing Instructions:  For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running. Do not tumble dry.
