Plain Cotton Sateen Fabric in Various Colours

A luxurious and high quality cotton sateen fabric dyed in plain shades, ideal to use for classic garments or as lining. This fabric is lightweight, and ideal for dressmaking as it offers the great qualities of breath-ability of cotton, is a dream to sew with and to wear. Paired with a silken feel this fabric has a soft lustre that catches the eye, a result of the tight sateen weave. 

Cotton is a perfect material for dressmaking especially if you are a beginner as it does not shift when handling and is easy to cut and sew. 

Suitable for:  dresses, tops, shirts, trousers, tunics, accessories and for lining.

Washing Instructions:  30 degrees (we recommend that you pre-launder fabric before sewing as shrinkage may occur).
