Maison Fauve - SCALA Shirt Paper Sewing Pattern

Masculine elegance infuses the Maison Fauve wardrobe. The SCALA shirt draws inspiration from Italian charm.

Its design features a large pointed collar, topstitched front pleats, a box pleat at the back, a straight, timeless cut, and a slightly dropped shoulder. The shirt is also available in a collarless version.

Sizes: 34 to 52.

Level: INTERMEDIATE, Technical aspects include stitching pleats, sewing a shirt collar, creating a clean burrito-style yoke, preparing a two-piece sleeve with a slit at the sleeve hem, and attaching a cuff.

The seam allowances are included and are 1cm.

Supplies needed:

• Fabric width 140 cm:

  • 34–38 : 160 cm

  • 40–44 : 185 cm

  • 46–48 : 200 cm

  • 50–52 : 220 cm

• Interfacing : 75 cm (pieces 8–9–10–12–14)

• 10 buttons (10 à 12 mm) and 9 buttons for the collarless version

Choice of fabrics: Poplin, crepe, voile, lace, lightweight denim, chambray, cotton, viscose, linen, Tencel, or silk. Choose fabrics that press well to help form the pleats.
