Fibre Mood - ESME coat Sewing Pattern

Step into winter with Esme! This oversized coats features a collar with a half collar stand and a detachable extra collar, attached with hidden loops on the inside. Ideal for playing with different materials such as fur, faux fur or teddy. Esme fastens at the centre front with buttons and includes practical patch pockets, a special sleeve insert and elasticated cuffs. Last but not least, Esme is fully lined for a beautifully finished look inside and out.

Fabric recommendations:

The Esme coat with its detachable faux fur collar looks gorgeous in rich, textured fabrics. Think wool, bouclé, felt or flannel for a warm, luxurious feel. Jacquard and woven fabrics with a subtle sheen or texture will give this coat extra character. For a contemporary twist, try quilted fabric, coated or waxed cotton, or even denim or corduroy for a more relaxed look. The detachable collar allows Esme to transition effortlessly from chic to casual.
